We are pleased to welcome Kirstin Beves into the Deesigner Hair Studio family.  Kirstin loves being able to create the desired look for her clients, giving them the confidence they deserve.  Kirstin especially enjoys creating quirky colours and unique styles.  Kirstin is available every Saturday from 09.00 to 17.30 and looks forward to seeing her customers, old and new!

Due to high demand, Ashley Bass will also be working Wednesdays from 6 March.  So her new days / hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday from 09.00 to 17.00.

We are delighted to welcome Sarah back into our salon today.  She will be working from 09.00 to 17.30, for five days a week, on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Sarah has over 19 years hairdressing experience in modern and classic cuts and especially enjoys wedding and occassion hairstyling.  Sarah looks forward to welcoming her previous clients and will also be available for new customers and walk-ins.

We would like to remind clients that we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations.  We have been getting an increasing number of no shows in recent weeks and this is very frustrating and costly for our stylists and the salon.  We appreciate your understanding and thank all customers for their custom during these difficult times.

Kevin Choo

We are sad to announce that Kevin has left our team today, to concentrate on expanding his personal training business.  We would like to thank Kev for all his hard work and loyalty over the last 11 years.  We know that he will be greatly missed by his colleagues and customers and we wish him all the very best for the future.

More fantastic news today, with the confirmation that a 3rd stylist from our salon, Clare Kirby, has also won through to the finals of the Hair and Beauty Awards 2023.  "Kirbs" or "Kirby" as she is affectionately known, has made it through to the "Best Cutting Salon" category.  This is well deserved recognition for "Kirby", who has been with Deesigner Hair for an incredible 21 years!

We wish Clare, Chantel and Marnie the best of luck for the finals.

The Mayor of Ipswich, Councillor John Cook, presented us with a certificate to recognise Deesigner Hair being the longest established tenant in The Buttermarket Centre.  The Centre celebrated it's 30th birthday at the end of October and we have been in the Centre since September 1995 - over 27 years!  Thank you all for your fantastic support and custom!

We are delighted to announce that our stylist, Chantel Brandon, has reached three finals in the Hair & Beauty Awards 2023.  Chantel has been selected for the categories "Hair Stylist of the Year", "Best Colour Salon" and "Best for Blonde".  This is a tremendous achievement for Chantel, who has been at Deesigner Hair since 2014.  Throughout her time in the salon, "Chani" has always been keen to learn and introduce new techniques and styles into the salon.  We are very proud that her hard work, dedication and attention to detail has been acknowledged by the judges.

We are also very proud to annouce that our barber, Marnie Webb, has reached the final in the category "Barber of the Year"!  This is a great achievement for such a young person who always amazes us with her skills with the scissors and razors!

We are estatic that two members of our team have been chosen for the finals of this prestigous competition and wish them the very best of luck in the finals, which are being held in Birmingham in April 2023.
